We like to bring to your attention a subject NOT many people know about in SAMOA although it is crucial for our future health. The following has been reported to the Ombudsman and also the National Human Rights Institution (NHRI) on May 04, 2023. We were promised an investigation into the matter as they had no information about it. Unfortunately, no further replies have been received.
The Minister of Health and the CEO of the Health Department were also contacted but never replied.
Our request letter was as follows:
Dear Ombudsman, Government officials and the Ministry of Health,
Currently, the WHO (World Health Organization) is having discussions behind closed doors amending the IHR (International Health Regulation). If no objection, suggestion or reaction to the changes before November 2023, it will be assumed that the WHO member state (Samoa) agrees to the current changes.
The current changes will allow WHO to call a global pandemic (even just by a potential threat of a pandemic) with global lockdowns, forced injections and mandates.
An example of the current amendment of IHR is Article 3. Which states the following:
The REMOVAL of the following text from Article 3: “full respect for the dignity, human rights and fundamental freedom of persons.”

Are you aware that if Samoa agrees, it will override our own constitution and it will be legally binding? We will no longer be able to decide what is best for our own people.
Potential financial greed or ignorance could jeopardize the sovereignty and the future of our country.
Our questions to the above-mentioned institutions were:
1) Are you fully aware of these IHR changes and their consequences?
The answer from National Human Rights Institution was NO.
2) Who is the spokesperson for Samoa in front of the WHO?

At our meetings with the Director General for Health, Dr Alec Ekeroma, the Assistant Chief Executive Officer for the Ministry of Health Dr Robert Thompson and other government officials they have all been informed about the great dangers of the COVID-19 vaccine. However, today, November 15, 2023, the Ministry of Health declared that a few people in New Zealand have again contracted COVID-19. People in Samoa are now told to get another Covid shot and to wear masks for protection.
